Charles Winokoor worked more than two decades for the Taunton Daily Gazette and The Fall River Herald News as a general assignment reporter. His duties included covering criminal trials in southeastern Massachusetts.
Since retiring in July of 2022 Winokoor, a Fall River native, has been following criminal trials held primarily in Bristol County Superior and District courts located in the Fall River Justice Center building.
DELIVERING ACCURACY
Winokoor believes that significant criminal trials in local jurisdictions should be reported on a more consistent basis than is currently the case.

His hope is that this website will provide an outlet for readers who are interested in the Massachusetts court system and more specifically in these court proceedings.
